Painting Tabletop

Wanted to share with you a different Tabletop ...

                                                              My Desk

So I have been dreaming of  the Holiday Season - Fall/Harvest & Christmas and that lead me to wonder what I have, what projects I wanted to do, what would be bought. (finding that planning holiday/seasonal posts is a 3-4 months in advance kind of thing) This Project is my Christmas Village. I had 2 Houses - dark in tone so I thought I would paint them. Then this past Spring I bought at Goodwill 2 pastel color  and since I was painting the other 2 it would not matter.

I did the church first & loved it. Then I realized that it would not go with the style I have - Traditional & Rustic Mountain. So here I am trying to think of the colors and how the Village would look

Thinking the Rosy Mauve will not stay as the ribbon trim on the Pavilion Gazebo - not quite the Rustic Mountain or Traditional.

That is what is going on at my Desk. It has me thinking just how efficient, organized my desk is.... Not. I love to be able do projects at my desk and not have a disarray around me just to have the supplies out. Should I get a Parsons desk, put a small bookcase on it, making it a hutch - housing my supplies?  Thinking it sounds good but I have more going on at my desk then the above picture shows.

January 2017

                                                              Everyday normal desk
Thinking my desk needs to be apart of my Vision Board.

This will have to be a project for another day (organizing), for now I will live with it as is; no buying new stuff. Well, off to do a little painting before Retail ( then maybe I can buy new 😁). I will share with you my Village when it is finished.

                                 until next Table.... or desk,
                                                  Mia
