The Randomness of my Mind

   This week I have ....

completed the tablescape of the Birdcage. The Bird Teapot complete the look. I had also added a frame of the word love. This Word Frame floats to a few vignettes; love the mixing of pieces.

Next was my Fish Dinner with my Nephew. Fish is one of my favorite foods to eat, along with rice. Sitting down enjoying a nicely perpared meal and good company, is always a blessing.

My shirt - for the past year or so I had been thinking of making a throw pillow but I still love wearing this shirt. T-shirts and jeans are my comfort clothes.

These are just the few things that had broke through what has been most on my mind... God - the main - 96% - of my thoughts. The other thoughts are 1. my children & grandchildren 2. Job - search 3. Famfrie - family and friends 4. work I am doing now. Though these 4 thoughts are intertwined with God. They are my blessing and the path God wants me on and that makes for all things 'God Thought'.

                             What are your God Thoughts....

Picture Project - My Scenic pictures

Remember a while back when I wrote about my picture project.... well, I have made a tiny dent into the abyss of pictures order I imagine it can be. This tiny dent is that I have a ton of files for just about every one I know or subject.  One group of pictures are my Scenic Pictures.
I have no formal training in photography or even read anything on 'How to' but I have been lucky to have captured so beautiful shots. Today I want to share some with you:

Sunset 6 years ago when I was living in the Big City, taken from a 3rd floor balcony. The halo of the setting sun is magical.

Tree in the San Bernardino Mountains taken 3 years ago on my birthday trip .  Love how the sun is glaring through the tree.

Hwy 395 Reno, Nv to Riverside, Ca 1/3 of the way we stopped to stretch our legs and I captured the view.

Turtle Bay Sundial Bridge, Redding, Ca taken 6 1/2 years ago. When my girls came to visit and say good bye to their Pa.
Sunset of Hawthrone Bridge on Willamette River, Portland, Or; last Summer my sister & I went to a wedding in Washington State and we stopped off to visit our Cousin.

A double Rainbow seen from the back yard of my Father's house in Cottonwood, Ca. My niece & nephew running out to catch a Rainbow.

Second Street of my little Horsetown USA. I love the horse trails, I walk them 3 or 4 times a week.
I have come to love this little town I live in and the need to keep it horse livable and not busy.

Most of my pictures are taken with my phone or (before I lost) a pretty decent Kodak camera and I am glad to have taken some pretty decent photos. My people ones are ok but I have taken some candid shots that have family members hiding either my camera or their face from me. Now, I warn them, giving them a chance to put on their best smile.

Have an awesome week and put on your best smile,

FuFu Girly Stuff

All done - the Rosettes, 5 white and 2 pink; Flower Ball; and Bird Cage.

Not that I was super busy this week but I did have a few things to do, that the thought of setting this all on the table - the way I pictured it - on Friday didn't happen.

I quickly did a first look:

                                              then I did this:

and this was how it looked for breakfast:

On Friday my sister's grandsons came, then this morning my friend Miss Emily brought me some more kids to play with. My sister didn't think pretty little tea cups would mix with a bunch of kids. She exchanged the cups for the pot & I was the pot is prefect fit. Then came breakfast and more kids, so playing with the table right now is not a good idea. When I can get to it that tea pot will be included.
Making of the FuFu: I've realized that it really is a thought process to explain even with pictures how one makes... FuFu Stuff (my official name of this style of decoration).

To make the Rosette, sew a gathering stitch along the edge of a ribbon, once you've gotten a desired length to make a circle from pulling the thread; cut and sew ends together. The Pink ones I quickly did last night and didn't take any pictures.

For the Flower Ball, I had hot glued a Styrofoam ball  to a $1 candlestick, used pearl head pins to attach the flowers to ball.

Lastly the Bird Cage: this was a bit more of a thought process when I saw the idea. The idea was a soda bottle cap and paper. Wanting a bigger cage I used a pickle jar lid and wire, cut & hot glued to make cage. And yes that is paint for the walls & it worked nicely. The decorative 'wall' of cage is paper that I edge punched and 'glued' to the lid when I painted.

Together makes for a pretty table. Have an awesome Saturday!

Morning coffee to Travel or Not to Travel....

Morning coffee - that's  is always  a part of how I start my morning, right next to saying good morning to God. Some mornings it gets put in a refillable cup - Starbucks is the only place I know of that has a refillable plastic cup and they are great for on the go.

This morning I get to sit here and drink from a nice mug while I check my email. One email notified me that my Blog now has ads, so today I am asking for some feed back on the ads.  At the moment it is just family and friends that read this; I want the ads to be relevant to you and what I write about. Part of the rules is I'm not to click on the ads as to that is how I get paid. Yes, I want the ads so I can make money but I want the ads to be what you find interesting to click on. And the rules say that it can track how a user finds my blog - so I don't click from other sources or others to make multi clicks. I may have been doing this for 9 months and am still a novice. Though I will be an old pro at this by my 1 year anniversary.

                          enjoy your day,
                                              Mia

New Week

Levi Kitty
Me this week because I caught a cough. Some would say a cold but I don't want to claim that part.

Sunrise with a piece of the moon

So I haven't gotten much done this week. Luckily I  have this mantra that today is a new day, a fresh start. I guess I should have known what kind of week it was going to be when I had a vacuum fell on my head (was vacuuming some stairs). Then my cough creeps in; mom returns with her out of town storage - spent a week at mom's with my sister - had to empty truck....  think I'm whining a bit.
What I did get done was get a part time job - 24 hours a month, checked on the status of a job I really want (please pray for favor in this), and I will be having ads added to here. When you click on them I will get paid and I hope that the ads I choose will be of interest to you.

Remember the project I gave a sneak at last week; well I didn't get a chance to work on it. I started this last month and there is 2 steps left and that is the wire cage: paint and style it all in a cute vignette. Since I didn't work on it this week to give you a reveal today, I had to at least give a bit more to this.

here is to new days and new weeks,
                                                                      Mia

Saturday....

Morning walk to school last Fall 2015

                                              Hello Saturday!!!!!

This week has been an 'ugh' kind of week. You see I need to have a higher paycheck. I love what I am doing now but it is not enough. Now it is not that I don't feel God in the details or trust that it is His plan it just feels like I can't see the path because of the trees. Sometimes I feel worn out trying to focus and want to spend the day at the beach. I then remember~
                                         2 Chronicles 20:15-17
'Do not be afraid and do not be dismayed at this great horde, for the
battle is not yours but God's. Tomorrow go down against them ... Stand
firm, hold your position, and see the salvation of the Lord on your
behalf ... Tomorrow go out against them, and the Lord will be with you."

I love this promise of my Father being with me and the victory that is there. That has been my week. My next week will be filled with more of the same I know but what makes me continue is that God has these most amazing mornings to show me filled with promises.

until next week, hopefully I will have this project that I am almost finish with, for now I will leave you with a peek.

                         many blessings,
                                      Mia
