Sister's Table
Sister put this together, soon after her Hubby cleared the table of his files.
Sister likes her Salt & Pepper shakers, these owls are just adorable.
These Sunflowers are getting a lot of use since we got them in June.
This is a simple Table this week I have lots to do and I will keep you posted.
until next table,
Mia

Visiting my Spot = The Mountain
On this trip, I went to the zoo - Alpine Zoo.
Beautiful ... 1 of 3 pictures that really showed how I enjoyed the zoo.
The Zoo was only 2.5 acres and crowded. They are a Wildlife Rescue and Sanctuary, thus there are some permanent residences. Next year they will be moving to 10 acres, 5 that will be ready when they move .... YAY.
One of two Snow Leopards, we 'met' right before feeding so
we where able to see them active - moving about.
The Snowy Owl, just beautiful; they are active both day & night,
only this guy is taking a nap. Males are white, while the females have flecks of black plumage.
After the Zoo we went to our spot for lunch.
The Old German Deli, delicious food and great service that keeps us coming back.
crisp clean air, and sweater weather.
One of the Animal Carvings that grace the sidewalks of The Village.
I just love the Wine Barrels and had to have a picture.... the Cub at the door is just
too cute !!!
My Friend & I taking in the last few moments of beauty before leaving.
Grateful that he invited me to join him.
That was my weekend and I wanted to share with you my trip.
Tomorrow, which is Table Tuesday, Edison will be working on my street & we will be without electricity for the day, thus posting will be... trying to get something together today & maybe write tonight when I get home from Retail.
until next trip,
Mia
PS not very good with selfies, maybe I should use the goofy one LOL...

Using the same decor pieces I am able to get different looks. The Scarecrows making an appearance again.

Sept 2017

Oct 2015
Little Pumpkins making repeated appearances through out each Season.
Some of these decor pieces are also in different places around the house this year, and that can change.
Here the Refrig is showcasing my Metal Pumpkin, this year and the Scarecrows are hanging out next to the TV.
I want these pictures to do the talking. I have about 2 containers of Fall decor and some of the pieces I used are not (books & candles) exclusive to Fall. Your Fall decor should be what you love; I have seen on several media sites: washed/creamy blue Pumpkins that are beautiful, but for me... it doesn't really have me feeling cozy Fall. I hope that my Cozy inspires you to put touches of Fall around your Home to make you Cozy.

Fall Table (cabinet) Tops
Remember this spot in the Fall tour?
I found this Pillar candlestick a the local Goodwill, matching the one Sister has...
I added them to this little 'corner' of the room....
Love these Pillars so that I had to use somewhere. The style/color does not really fit (too brown to the fun orange), but I just put them here in the hopes that the Glaze Pumpkin will help them fit in.
As I was working out the look - the candle that was bought for Sister's Pillar it didn't have the right feel, then remembering the I had some candles...
With no tall matching pillar Candles I used 2 inch pillar along with a candle vase to complete the look.... and the glass reflects - bonus, Thank you Dollar Tree.
tada!! really love the look, even the Scarecrows love it!

Entry Hall Bookcase Top
Going for a Pumpkin Patch Farm look
Blessed
this Candy Pumpkin lid bowl works great to catch the keys
This is the beginning of this idea of a vignette of a Pumpkin Patch; love this but I had reached the limit of my budget so it is small this year. Can't wait for next year!!!!!
Like all Entry Tables - in our case a Bookcase - it is a catch-all for coming in/out, and at the moment this is really how it looks:
And the shelf's underneath has my Nephew's Stuff, as he calls it, not pictured.
Really liked the Scarecrow figurines, they lend the Farm feel to the vignette.
Then add a couple faux mini Pumpkins and we got a Pumpkin Patch.
This little sign says it all...

It's a Top...
I was watching one of my favorite YouTuber's - Arlynn from Country Craft Corner's just killing time before leaving for Retail and she did this quick project. This is how quick the project was:

The bow was already made and waiting a place to call it's own.

I put it on Top of a mirror in the bathroom.
Quick the as in 15-20 minutes then off to Retail job. I'm guessing the time since I still had to do what I did before I wired the Leaves together, a little bending and fluffing.
I was making this for a new Table center piece but the Table is at the moment
being a work horse - Bro in Law doing some end of year work in his business.
Table being the Dinning Table is the table I use for Tabletop Tuesday.
Hope you enjoyed this Top and next Tuesday we will get the Table.
until next table,
Mia
