Simply White Tabletop
Simple
I gathered the idea.... the white pottery and a couple extra pieces.
put the pear accent pieces in the soup tureen
Needed to fill the tureen with white beans and wood shave filler to show off the
pears
pair of candle goblets; I constructed from 3 different glass candleware.
I have a plan for these candle goblets for a St. Patrick's Day table.
I will play around with this a few times before St. Patty, because
I know that it can have more then one look.
The beauty of white and the neutral colors of the pears and filler
is that anything goes.
Have you noticed that I love to glue glass pieces together, soon I will have this nice large collection of glassware. Thinking of gifting them to a few people, maybe even sell a few.
I will let you know if that ever happens, the selling that is.

Tabletop is working
Happy Tuesday everyone, with Valentine's Day gone I wanted to do something St. Patty on the table, only I didn't want to have it for a whole month. The thought is that I don't have a lot of St. Patty decor to make 2 vignettes. As I thought of the how's and what's of a table my sister beat me to it.... this is her teapot.

| the assistant at work |
This is how it looks some days when my brother in law also works at home or when his assistant is here. And there is always a spot for my nephew.
When it comes to his mealtime, he let's you know what to eat, and when. Just the other day - 8am he came to me for breakfast saying I had to fix waffles LOL, 12pm is lunch and if I'm not on it by 12:10 he comes reminds me; 6pm is dinner.
Sometime simple is good. To be able to admire the one piece and not look through everything else cluttered around just to see it.
Life is the same way, in order to see the good we need to clear out the clutter. And sometimes I just need to get up and clear it. Fact of me: I tend to debate how to go about the 'decluttering'; which leaves me looking like I'm lounging. I'm a list maker and like to check the boxes; I also lose those list among the paper work I have. Working on a system to improve the checking of boxes.
Would love to heard ideas that you may have that helps you check off the boxes on your list.
Nephew Ryan helping me with a Pinterest idea before the last of the Valentine decor gets put away.

Dreaming
Today, I am dreaming of my new place. The other day my friend - the one I told you about, being roommates with... she had a bit of bad luck and because of it; it is taking her in a different direction. So the hunt is on now for a single or studio apartment.
I also have a million things to do, or at least that is what it feels like ... laundry, cleaning my room, putting Valentine things away, organize pictures, and oh put order back around my desk.
Once again my desk became a place that catches everything. When we had that heavy rain a couple weeks ago it seeped into the foundation and the floor became soaked. Leaving me to put all the boxes on the desk instead of around the desk.
My last project done at the desk. It is of a couple of Dollar Tree frames hot glued together with a bunch of ivy and ranunculus.....
This is what I dream of ~
a space in which to be crafty.
I am almost that close to having that space ~ this weekend I
will be out and about looking for an apartment.

Valentine Morning Coffee
Happy Valentine's Day
I love to spend my mornings this way each day;
a beautiful cup of coffee, some fragrant flowers, and
the Word.
And maybe a sweet bread.
My Bible study group is reading Genesis; I've read it once before,
loved it then and love it now.
Ok back to reality can't afford beautiful flowers every few days and to set this up everyday takes time away from the reading so this won't happen each morning - yet.
It is nice to have a special day to plan this and Valentine's is one of them. Though it is a special time each morning to spend with Him. Have you realized yet that this is my Valentine date? I thank Him each day for the blessings He gave me - my children & grandchildren.
I did enjoy taking these pictures to share with you, I also played around with tips I read about lighting. The tip didn't do much or I just didn't get the right reflective board.
I pray that everyone gets to spend today with the One they love. Have a loving Valentine's Day today and everyday.

My Valentine Decor
As I was contemplating on what to write Random Thought along with showing off some hearts, I noticed that the lighting wasn't very well in these pictures. I took them with both phone and Kodak, turned on all the lights but I just didn't get it right. But I will share with you anyways because Valentine is about love. And the one thing I love is to decorate.
So here are they are bad lighting and all.

Sis' new TV & console
This I love: candle stick & glass lid that lost it's match found a new life as a dish. Already I have plans for other holiday decorating.
My Heart tree, though the heart & tree are not symmetricly even - big hearts, small tree; I still love the tree.
From a couple years ago, having a Valentine tea and my Tree graced the table.
My room needed a little Valentine too, the picture is me & my children's Father ~
My Valentine
Picture taken early 90's, an impromptu one; I wasn't thinking picture time or it's a memory in the making, I just wanted a picture. This is my heart these 4 beautiful children - L to R Tiffany, Ana, Elizabeth, and Richard = TRAE (order of birth). Every morning & night I pray for them and thank God for blessing me with them.
Life has been keeping me busy with work and things that I want - making sure that it is in line with God's plan. I have been looking for a place of my own only to realize that I can't afford one on my own. I do have a friend that needs a new place too so we have been hunting for a place together. Which is why I have not done a Tabletop Tues and am finishing this late to post today.
until next time, happy Heart time,
Mia
