Starting simple the other day and today I want to do big.
Only I have a project on the table and Big will have to wait for my Weekend.
The sand also is not the color I wanted; I wanted it to look like the sand at Carmel Beach.
Carmel is my favorite beach, the scenery is very peaceful.
Found this in Google since I haven't worked on my pictures in a while - a long while to downloaded/scanned any pictures.... haven't done any of my pictures of Carmel. I had them developed and printed, this one I debated on sharing...
Picture of a picture of me in Carmel. The trees there are just a character of their own, their beauty is not the same as the next tree. The person taking the picture claims to not be good at it, so it is blurry.
The Beach is about relaxing with a good book; my daughter can tell you all about that, believe that is why she loves Santa Barbara.... another beach town I love. Half the reason I love is because she is there the other is because it is the beach.
From one of my trips to Santa Barbara - Stearns Wharf. We had walked from my daughter's apartment, down State Street.
But it was another trip that I was Shell Hunting.
ok, well... some I bought; needed to fill in the gap, add a variety of shells.
Cause what else says Beach but a shell or 2.
Beach towns are beautiful, the sound of the waves relaxing, the air is fresh and cool coming off the ocean. And yes the smell- seaweed, washed up on the shore has it's own love/ hate smell of decay. Which I do love. How do I know this- I once lived in Monterey Bay. I loved the fog that rolled in every evening and out each morning, the wind that the Sea Gulls would hover in, clear blue skies that meet the sea. By now you maybe wondering why did I ever leave my Beach town, family. I needed to be near Family that lived here in So. Cal.
Every so once in a while I miss the Beach Life, at least I know I have a place to visit when I get real need to go - the Table ... or my daughter's.
until next table,
Mia
