Hello Blog World

Today is the first day of Random thoughts. Having followed several blogs on home decorating in the past and thought 'I should put my ideas out there too for all to read.... my ideas and thoughts are just like theirs.... I can do this....' and now 5 years later, here is my thought:

" Making tea is so very easy.... only i drink coffee."

About me and the writings of this blog ~
My name is Mia and I am a child of God. Mother of 4 and grandmother of some grandchildren, just received an AA in Humanities of Philosophy and Art .... oh I'm short. I like to think I have a sense of humor and just a bit off key to get me through the blah part of a week. Collecting dishes, linens and books from thrift stores are some of the few things I like. Along with scrapbooking, picture taking, and trying to learn new crafts. Antiquing, drives in the country, and museums are my ideal ways to spend a weekend.  Though let's not forget what Saturdays are all about relaxing and watching Netflix or reading a good book. Every morning I have a couple cups coffee and every so often I have a cup of tea on a cool evening.
I like Artful Living only I'm not a Domestic Artist - only in my dreams and one Saturday of the month when I dust my room. I have come to realize that these 2 'titles' go hand in hand, not being a Domestic Artist makes Artful Living a little bit tricky. Plus living with my sister and having a small bedroom in her house, makes that 80% of my stuff packed away. I know God's plan will give me a place of my own soon; I just need to finish this part of the plan - living in my sister's home. This blog is about the journey of becoming a Domestic Artist and enjoying Artful Living and I pray that you will join me as I discover my style of home.
Mia
